HackHD camera

hi,

has used camera?
https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11418
have project in mind this, require camera module (the black plastic bit lens on  it) removed , re-positioned.

the question boils down how many electrical connectors between lens , circuit board, , how fiddly they.

is there out there who's got 1 in front of them , offer guidance on whether feasible? emailed sparkfun , got non-answer them!

seems expensive way hack something, i.e if going take apart

there plenty of cheap $50 gopro clone cameras  $150 module does.

so if going tear apart, i'd more inclined tear $50 camera apart $150 one  ;-)
