Arduino sensors with LEGO EV3

so, have arduino , sensors. want buy lego ev3, cause love legos , freaking cool. freaking expensive, , have limited number of sensors. can make generic arduino sensors work lego? if not, can make arduino read sensors , them output lego?

there no arduino sensors: arduinos can read manner of sensors, appropriate voltage adjustments, they're not arduino products.

but whether or not ev3 can read ordinary everyday sensors question should ask on lego forum i'dsay.
