Thread: Hibernate/suspend don't work

notebook: asus x51r (video adapter ati radeon express 1100)
os: ubuntu 9.04
kernel: 2.6.28, 30, 31 (original , mainline kernels https://wiki.ubuntu.com/kernelteam/mainlinebuilds)

hibernate/suspend didn't work in fresh-installed ubuntu 9.04. i've updated xorg-server, xserver-xorg-video-ati, pm-utils, , rest utils (https://launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/+archive/ppa?field.series_filter=jaunty), , hibernate works fine, suspend still doesn't work (system freezes during awakening).

there way make suspend work right (if hibernate works fine)?
