External power and usb become hot
hello everyone,
i'm trying control 3-axis board parallel interface using arduino 2009.
i report here steps:
1- connect directly arduino (powered usb) board. in way, usb become hot because board protected opto-isolator
2- use external supply control board in case usb cable become hot
3- remove vcc usb cable in way cable become hot
4- use data + , data - of usb cable in way windows don't see arduino
to protect microprocessor putted buffer between board , pins.
waiting answer.
greeting, fabio

if gets hot quite trying draw current it.
your description of setup not clear. trying run off usb cable?
that nonsense, not become hot because has opto isolators.
you need provide diagram of setup complete power coming each component, along links various components.
