How to connect USB Hub to Model A + - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi all,

need usb hub connection model +. since there 1 usb port bought usb hub http://www.easyacc.com/418-easyacc-usb- ... hub.html#/ connect wifi dongle , @ least keyboard. i've plugged in usb hub in 12v soket , powered rasp it...but doesn't work reason. tested hub on laptop , working fine seems doing wrong when connecting rasp.

have of got experience connecting model a+ usb hub? can have correct schema of how that?

need set wifi on rasp can't that....

eeek! powered usb hubs i've ever seen take 5v input. putting 12v on 1 fry it, , 12v fry pi quite thoroughly.

once replace damaged equipment... model a+ can use unpowered hub. connect pi decent 5v 2a psu , you're go keyboard, mouse , wifi dongle on unpowered hub.
