Confused: Buttons work but don't show up?
i try explain setup of page:
there layer mask above layer buttons. mask intended reveal buttons , text boxes after short delay. people did page had working, after opened change text, buttons stopped showing. still exist, however. able press buttons while swf running based on should be. invisible. checked mask, , working fine. covers supposed to, nothing left out.
i did find button displayed if mask not present, actionscript present seems not work. buttons intially set opacity of 40 , given more when selected. when mask gone (which not when working properly), buttons have normal _alpha setting.
the makers of page did use actionscript not familiar with, seems exclusively concerned tweening effects. thoughts?

another thing: tried moving buttons out under mask or different location on page. not can not see them then, don't seem exist @ (or if do, can't click them).
i think fla's done in mx 2004 while using professional 8. version differences cause problem? there easy way check version fla created with? know sure made higher mx.
